How long will I have the Venue to use for my wedding?
The home is available for use from 9AM until 9 PM. Honeymoon Package allows stays from noon Friday until noon Sunday.
Am I allowed to decorate inside and outside of the Venue?
Venue renters are allowed to decorate as long as it does no damage to the home, it's contents, or it's grounds. All decorations must be off the premises by 9 PM.
Am I allowed to play music insdie or outside of the venue?
Music is allowed to be played , whether ir be live or recorded. However, the sound level must not exceed the level allowed according to city mandates.
May I rent the venue for my wedding and stay the night there, too?
Absolutely, we encourage guests to stay at Carolina House for their Honeymoon . We also encourage out of town guests to take advantage of the home's overnight option. Overnight fees will apply.
May I get married outside?
Carolina House is perfect for outside weddings. The wedding pergola located behind the Cottage House provides a unique location for the ceremony. Over 100 year old trees adorn the grounds and gardens to offer beautiful backdrops for photos. Two chandeliers hang from the tree tops and the pergola itself to add elegance to any outside event.
May I have a rehearsal party, shower or family reunion at the venue?
Carolina House is perfect for a small get together of friends and family for special occasions, like showers or anniversary celebrations.
