After walking through the original door of the 120 year old estate, you enter the Grand Hallway. Guests can mingle and get reacquainted as they wait for the ceermony to begin.
Ladies'Parlor
Imagine the cake displayed in the grand ballroom just waiting for the first slice to be cut by the bride and groom. This round ballroom, with surrounding windows and original Carolina Blue tile adorning the fireplace is the perfect place to toast the bride and groom. This room seats 6 at the table and 10 more among the vintage furnishings.
Dining Room
Dine in this spacious room with its antique chandelier and displays of priceless China and crystal. The dining room features a custom built mantle, while retaining the original surrounding tile. This room offers 2 buffets and seats 12 comfortably.
Gentlemen's Study
Relax and catch up with friends and family in the Gentleman's Study. This room features a custom designed fireplace mantle and a rounded front wall. Find yourself unwinding , while enjoying a beverage in the Gentleman's Study. This room seats 6 at its intricately carved table, while comfortably seating 10 on the surrounding furnishings.
Bridal Suite
Enjoy your first night as Newlyweds right here on sight in the Bridal Suite at Carolina House and Gardens. A king size bed waits in this spacious bedroom overlooking the front lawn.
Guest Room
The Guest Room is just right for overnight guests planning on attending the ceremony. Two full beds allow plenty of room.
Ladies' Dressing Room
The Ladies' Dressing Room provides two make up tables and a full length mirror. Two chaise lounges add seating for the bridal party.
Gift Room
The Gift Room offers a table upon which to receive gifts. It also serves as a waiting room for the 2 half-baths down the adjoining hallway.
Porches
Carolina House's wrap-around porch allows guests to gather outside. Guests may relax on either of 2 oak church pews on either porch side. The first floor back porch is screened in, allowing for gathering of guests. There is a handicap ramp also attached to this porch for ease of entry.
Kitchen
Carolina House has a fully functioning kitchen. The home has a French -Style Refrigerator, a 3-Bay Stainless Steel Sink,, Glass-Top Oven, Microwave, & Dishwasher. Patrons are allowed to use their own caterer. There is a ramp allowing easy access to the side door of the kitchen by way of the screened back porch.
Carriage House
Carolina House has a detached Carriage House that is perfect for many different occasions. Use it for parties, showers, reunions, rehearsal parties or as a dance floor! It has a fully functioning kitchen, a handicapped accessible bathroom, 50 chairs and 9 tables.
